No, I haven’t forgotten about you, blog. I’ve been busy…and not sleeping well, the combination thereof makes the days blend together. I’ve been seeing some friends and my aunt is in town from Texas. She drove up with boxes of new and used baby girl clothes. Heaps and mountains of baby apparel. Who knew they made so many tiny outfits? And the teeny socks! Oh, the baby socks.
It’s official. Baby Girl isn’t even born yet and she already owns more clothes than I do. She may even be better dressed than I am, if you count one-pieces as high fashion. Unfortunately, she won’t remember having worn any of them, so my husband suggested taking pictures of every individual item.
“Every…item?”
“Why not?”
“Because there are, like, over 100!”
Then, I panicked. What if ALL the sonographers/doctors have been mistaken and she is really a he? Does that happen!? According to my friend, the Internet, it does…just to everyone in the forums.

6.5 months. I look serious because I was very intent on taking this shot. My stomach is a basket ball! So, it’s a girl, still, right?
When I can’t sleep, which is about every two hours throughout the night, I read about boys being mistaken for girls and vice-versa. Can you imagine if Baby Girl ends up being Baby Not So Girl and we have to explain to him that it’s not his long-lost sister in all the baby photos?
Does that happen? Maybe don’t tell me!

You look beautiful!!!!
Get a huge variety of sizes as they grow out of them so quick. Unless your daughter spits up a ton in which case you can go through 10 outfits a day! Also, shoes are really not necessary until she walks really well— they make it hard to walk.
Those piles contain everything from newborn to 2T! I was surprised at the range of sizes and seasons we got! They may not be the current fashion, but they are in great shape and the quality is excellent so we will have to invest little in clothes over the next year!
I’ve only heard of people mistaking genders based off of one, maybe two, ultrasounds. You’ve had more than that so I think you’re just fine
Hah! I’ve had like ten. I’m probably in the clear?
Our youngest grandson has inherited clothing and toys from 5 male cousins. He will probably grow up hating hand me downs but I know what a great help it is for the whole family. Savor this time Sara, it is very special.

My youngest daughter has all of her big sister’s clothes and toys. She thinks it is great, although it meant holding onto things for 8 years, but I am a hoarder so not a real problem! Hey, I may even have some girl clothes for when you come back to Chile, ages 0 to 16yrs…if you would like to put them away.
Haha. Don’t worry. I’m sure baby girl will love those clothes, and if baby girl is really baby boy, he’ll be getting his first lesson in metrosexuality.
Btw, you look absolutely gorgeous, girl. Really.
